We make fewer things, better.
Twelve styles a season, not forty. Every piece begins with the fibre — European linen, peace silk, organic cotton — and is cut in runs of forty or fewer by ateliers we visit ourselves.
Small runs keep the making slow and the waste close to zero.
Porto, Lima and a family-run knit house we have worked with since 2021.
Cut, sewn, pressed and checked by hand — not by a line of machines.
Three ways to begin.
The pieces people keep.
Four styles that come back season after season — and the ones our customers write to us about.

A dress takes eight days.
Every piece passes through four pairs of hands. The linen is cut in Porto, the knits are finished in Lima, and the last stitch is closed by the same two women who have worked with us since the beginning.

Three promises, kept quietly.
Fibre first
We buy from mills we can name: a linen weaver in Kaunas, a silk house in Como, a cotton cooperative in Ica. The label tells you where it came from.
Cut in small runs
Forty pieces per style, then we stop. Nothing is overproduced, and nothing is destroyed at the end of a season.
Repair, not replace
Free repairs for the life of the garment. Send it back, and we will mend it by hand — then send it home again.
Quietly noticed.
“The quietest collection of the season — clothes that seem to have always existed.”
Field Notes“Linen with a memory of its own. You can feel the years in it before you have worn it once.”
Atelier Journal“I have worn the slip dress three summers running. It only gets better.”
